LUC Festival Day 2: LIVE SOUNDTRACKS

Live soundtracks POSTER 1000pxToday the LUC Festival turns musical with an epic Live Soundtrack Event at the historic Royal Pump Rooms. There will be four different acts providing their own unique accompaniment to a variety of shorts.

Jonny Roden & Jon Blackford are scoring last year’s LUC Short Film prize winner Golden

Florence Ellis will be performing a new piano piece to accompany 1963 pin screen animation Le Nez

Tim Ellis of Laserbun will be providing an electronic soundtrack for the classic Voyage To The Moon

Lewis J. Smith and Charlotte Bee teaming up to provide the soundscape for Icelandic short Sker

As well as these musical contributions we will also be screening the following shorts selected for competition in the LUC Short Film Prize 2015:

Mer Depre directed by Margeret Orr

Goran directed by Roberto Santaguida

The Fisherman directed by Omar Monge

Quiescence directed by Tania Cattebeke
