‘Quiescence’ wins the LUC SHORT FILM PRIZE 2015

LUC is delighted to let everyone know that Quiescence directed by Tania Cattebeke was announced the winner of the LUC Short Film Prize 2015 on Saturday evening at the Spa Centre Cinema.

A brilliantly subtle and affecting portrait of the far-reaching effects of everyday bureaucracy, Quiescence was a worthy winner in a very strong line-up of short films in the final. A student film from Paraguay, it is our first international winner following The Hungry Corpse in 2013 and Golden in 2014.

The short film selection was easily the strongest in our short three year history and we can’t wait to run the competition again next year.
