Blair Witch & Dog Soldiers confirmed for A Fright In Foundry Wood

After the spookily successful screening of Evil Dead 2 during the LUC Festival 2015, we are teaming up again with the Foundry Wood and Playing The Field for two nights of immersive and atmospheric outdoor film action with ‘A Fright In Foundry Wood’ on the 6th and 7th of May.

First up on Friday 6th is the classic Blair Witch Project, the shocking film made from the documentary footage shot by three student filmmakers who disappeared in the woods near Burkittsville, Maryland in 1994. To get you in the mood for this We will have expert guides on hand to explain the little-known, occult history of the Foundry Wood site and the dark spirits that lurk in wood to this day.

Then on Saturday 7th, prepare yourselves for the visceral onslaught of Neil Marshall’s brilliant soldiers v werewolves horror/action flick, Dog Soldiers. On arrival at the perimeter holding area you will be briefed by military personnel who will then escort you safely in teams to the viewing arena, ensuring that no unpleasant lycanthropic episodes take place.

Food and drink will be on sale at both events to keep you well fed and watered, seating will be provided but you are welcome to bring your own – remember to wrap up warm and don’t wander off into the woods alone…

Tickets go on general sale on the 28th February, but LUC mailing list subscribers can buy them a week earlier on the 21st. To join the mailing list (it is free and almost entirely harmless), click on the link below…
