On Friday 6th May Leamington Underground Cinema and Playing The Field present The Blair Witch Project at a special, extra spooky outdoor screening at Leamington Spa’s Foundry woods.
Join us for this classic tale of a group of student filmmakers searching for evidence of something evil lurking in the woodland of Burkittsville, Maryland.
Prior to the screening we will have an exclusive video introduction from a supernatural expert detailing a dark chapter in the occult history of Leamington Spa which links the foundry site to a centuries old tragedy, a mysterious suicide and the satanic rituals of Aleister Crowley.
To keep your nerves calm and you thirst quenched there will be a licensed bar as well as hot food on sale. Bench seating will be available, but please bring your own camping chairs if you would like to have a slightly comfier journey into the horror of the woods.
Tickets are still available at the time of writing from wegottickets, specifically from:
Doors open at 7.30pm, with the film action commencing at 8.30pm. As this event is outdoors and at night, please dress to keep warm and dry – feel free to perform any pagan rituals you may know to keep the weather agreeable.
