THEY LIVE and PREDATOR Camo Fest screenings this weekend

As part of the ongoing Leamington Camouflage Festival, LUC and Playing The Field bring you two cult classic movies this weekend with a theme of deception and concealment.

Both screenings take place outdoor in the elements at Foundry Wood. First up on Friday we have John Carpenter’s 1987 sci-fi action satire They Live. (BUY TICKETS FOR THEY LIVE)

Then on Saturday, assume the position for classic Arnie vs Alien action in the peerless 1987 flick Predator (BUY TICKETS FOR PREDATOR).

Both screenings will be preceded by new work from paranormal investigator Professor Daniel Winchester, exposing strange visitations to Leamington Spa from beyond the stars…

Tickets for both events are £12, either from wegottickets or on the gate. There will be hot food on sale and a licensed bar to keep you refreshed and hydrated. Please do not bring your own food and drink as the revenue from refreshments helps to pay for the events.

There will be bench seating, but please feel free to bring your own camping chairs to maximise you posterior enjoyment of these events.

As this screening is outdoors, please dress to keep warm and dry and wear sturdy footwear.

Doors open at 6.30pm with film action beginning at 8pm on both nights.

Please remember to park your chopper somewhere easy to locate in case of intergalactic emergency. There is free parking at Victoria Park, just off Princes Drive.

THEY LIVE & PREDATOR screenings at Leamington Camouflage Festival

LUC is teaming up with Playing The Field for two camouflage themed screenings at Foundry Wood on 2nd & 3rd September as part of the Leamington Camouflage Festival.

they live flyer 1On Friday 2nd, we present present John Carpenter’s classic 1988 cult satire action flick They Live.

When a drifter, played by Rowdy Roddy Piper, comes into possession of some very special sunglasses, he is able to see the world as it really is – an oppressive nightmare where the ruling class are really a bunch of evil aliens manipulating the masses behind a seamless facade. It also contains the longest fight scene in cinema history – so something for everyone.

Also at this screening Dr Daniel Winchester will be presenting his findings on paranormal extraterrestrial happenings in the local area – you will be shocked and amazed.

At this screening Dr Winchester will also be presenting his findings on a shocking tale of extraterrestrial invasion in Leamington Spa – oh yes.
